1. General
By placing an order through pennedbypat.ca, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
2. Products
Handcrafted Items
All handcrafted items (wreaths, sewn items, upholstery) are made individually and may have slight variations — this is part of their unique, handmade character. Product photos are representative; your item may vary slightly in colour or detail.
Books
Physical books are shipped as printed. Please review the product description before ordering.
Digital Products (E-books)
Digital products are delivered electronically and are available for download immediately after purchase. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of e-books are final.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Payment is processed securely through PayPal. We do not store your credit card or financial information.
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
4. Shipping
- We currently ship within Canada only.
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and package size via Canada Post.
- Orders are typically processed within 5 business days.
- Shipping times vary by location but typically range from 5–10 business days within Canada.
- Tracking information will be provided when available.
5. Returns & Refunds
Handcrafted Items
Due to the handmade nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged.
Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at our discretion.
Digital Products (E-books)
All sales of digital products are final. No refunds will be issued for e-book purchases.
Store Credit
As crafted items are one of a kind, no refunds are available. However, depending on the situation, a credit may be used on a future purchase for part or whole of the original price. Some conditions will apply.
6. Custom Orders
- Custom orders require a 50% deposit at time of order.
- Custom orders are non-refundable once production has begun.
- Cancellations before production begins will receive a full refund minus a $15 administrative fee.
7. Order Cancellation
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund.
- After 24 hours, orders that have entered production or been shipped cannot be cancelled.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content on this website, including text, images, and designs, is the property of Pat Carlson / Penned by Pat.
- E-books and digital content are for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or redistributed.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Penned by Pat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product(s) in question.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
